How to: Open a form without showing the highlight that usually appears.
Solution:
In the Form Design view, select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. Click the 'Keyboard' tab. Select the 'Go to Start of Field' or 'Go to End of Field' radio button.
1) If the Database window is not activated, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Forms' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the desired form from the list box. (The selected form is highlighted.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The selected form appears in Design view, and the floating Toolbox appears.)
5) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The Options dialog box appears.)
6) Click the 'Keyboard' tab.
7) Do one of the following:
a) Select the 'Go to Start of Field' radio button in the 'Behavior Typing Field' section to have the cursor start at the beginning of every field.
b) Select the 'Go to End of Field' radio button in the 'Behavior Typing Field' section to have the cursor start at the end of every field.
8) Click 'OK'.
9) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save' to save the form.
CAUTION: This procedure changes the default for all tables, queries, forms, and macros.
